No, I've been thinking about this. I'd have to say there's something plain old likeable, seriously so, about Death-the-member. There's a touch of the grandiose in you, of course, but you never seem to take offense in having this pointed out to you. That is an endearing trait to me, being able to swallow that sort of thing. I won't say 'constructive critiscm', since I dislike that term personlly- feels like it's an excuse to flatten someone then make then LIKE it on the grounds you're 'improving' them so what's all the fuss about? Death takes a hit, to be sure, then bounces back with zero passive aggressive games aimed at other members, or sythes to grind much less axes. As I said, there's been some awfully good therapy in your past Death. However, I WILL say that the most effective, expensive therapy on the planet ( or wherever yours would have been, and with whom. I'd stay away from Freud if I were you. ) will do zero unless one is fully prepared to do the WORK. It's more than obvious you have, so another forum feather in the folds of your hoodie.
It's been very nice having you around, Death. You don't exactly go for points, so it's nice to see you're racking up the 'likes' through participation here. I hope to see you around more, since you do tend to be a good example for others in quite a few ways. I'd like to see a little more by way of support here and there, maybe on other member's threads but everyone is different with how they choose to use the forum as a healing tool. I'm sure you do not wish to be intrusive or unhelpful, implying you KNOW 'what is wrong' with others and only YOU the wisdom to fix it. There's something else which makes you again 'seriously likable', you know?
Since the subject of the Mrs. came up in another thread, I did wish to mention there's a Supporter section here. She'd be more than welcome, I am sure,
