The sanctuary is a great idea, but I'm scared witless of horses!

I'll let you work with the donkeys;) They are really cute and gentle for the most part, just stubborn. wonder if a donkey could be a service animal?

Me too! Only horse I don't fear comes in a can marked "Alpo".

I don't mind eating horse at all. It is way better than camel or llama.

Po-dog however loves him some horse. He only gets a small bit of Alpo as a treat on special occasions...most of the time we feed Science Diet and a bit of the vegetables we have with dinner. (oddly all of our dogs really dig cooked vegetables. I suspect they eat as much broccoli and tomato as we do....

Here is a pic of Po. Notice the toy on the couch, but the rock in his mouth. Strange little guy collects rocks and piles them neatly under the coffee table. No one understands why but him.

Hi- Been off a while actually after 3 years took a real vacation I went Camping in VT with real roughing it. So I just havent had time to be on. Since I got back I have 3 Pups donated. Sascha (18 month old GSD) just legt with her Veteran today/ I'll try to be on more regular. If you want to owner train your own Service Dog contact Link Removed or Private message me and we can hook up. I'll help who ever I can get their Service dog trained. I really believe these dogs save lives.

Here is a pic of Po. Notice the toy on the couch, but the rock in his mouth. Strange little guy collects rocks and piles them neatly under the coffee table. No one understands why but him.

I have a Brindle female (white and silver) and she does teh same thing. My Wife has been been breeding them for years. all of ours do it

I agree with service dogs save lives. Mako kept me from doing something stupid. Service dogs also help us get our lives back.

I was just asking Medic5 about you yesterday or this morning... good to see you are ok!!!! Nala is stll plugging on... she is BFF's with Mako even they havent met yet lol... Nala saved my life for sure, I learned a rule early in my Navy/Marine Corps career... never get a woman's name tattood on you.... Well I broke it... I have Nala on my left shoulder now and too proud of it...

Like M5, Nala came around at just the right time.. she knew... the night I got her home she put her head on my leg, looked up at me and sighed... omg I haven't cried like that since I was a kid... I was safe...

lol he IS a handsome sort right??? if just a little lazy... but I love him... he is a sweetheart even tho people think he is a killer... 107 pounds of love....
