My introduction will be brief.
I was sexually abused for many years during childhood and consequently have PTSD.
At some point I may post more in forums, but my objective today was to explore the wiki because I liked the idea vs. doing searches and wading through content on various sites - some useful and some not.
I really wouldn't have bothered with an introduction at all today but a pop up said if I didn't my account would be deleted in a month. With all do respect for those who make such decisions, I found that peculiar. I now wonder if I have to meet minimum posting requirement each day/week/month to continue to have access to the site. I find this unfortunate, although I am sure there is a good reason for making new members feel anxious about their status.
With that in mind, I will re-read the forum rules and legal policy before getting on to what I really wanted to do, which is explore the wiki with the hope of expanding my knowledge base.
