I just love the simplicity of the white daisy or are they cherryblossom lights.

Loloma, I was just at Ellenbrook shops on the weekend. Are their decorations incredible?? Really magical :D

We decided to pass on the traditional Christmas tree this year, unfortunately, because last year, my kitties destroyed our tree and all the gorgeous decorations.. so devastating. So this year I decided to just make one instead, and if they trash this one, it doesn't matter because it's just paper and glitter and paint :)

Hubby says that now the window lights are up in the kitchen, it is now Christmas.

I have decided that when I pull the tree down this year I am going to change the string on all baubles to fishing line so it is clear and does not detract from the balls themselves. Some are already on fishing line and I like how it looks. I ordered some extra decorations which were on sale (they are clearing out earlier this year) but they have still not arrived after a week.

Here are two close ups of my tree. One shows the bling on it. The other shows my Swedish heritage. Toward the top of the picture is a black Dala Horse. Towards the bottom are little straw figures. One is a little man(hard to tell in picture) and the other is a little reindeer. Enjoy.

Oh and I shrunk the pixel size so that they wouldn't take up much on the site.

Those little mice are so precious amethist! Did you make them? I've never seen them before! :)

I knitted them and just finished them today.

They are fiddly, but look so cute.

I wish I could knit. Tried it in grade school and could never get the knack at it. I'm thinking of going back to doing crochet, but I'll have to get a refresher course since it has been so long.

I thought those mice looked knitted! Very, very cute!
