If you are looking for a program to specialize in trauma processing Sheppard Pratt would not be a good choice. The trauma unit focuses on skills to get you ready to process. Talking about your trauma history with other patients and in group is frowned upon at SP. If you need stablization and grounding techniques Sheppard Pratt is perfect. I was there and learned many useful strategies for dealing with processing.

Who actually IS good at processing trauma? I hear about processing but I've not heard of any good methodologies, names of approaches, experts, or anything.

Intensive Trauma Therapy in Morgantown WV is awesome. It's a bit pricey though.
