I know exactly where u are coming from. It's hard to understand how they could forget something like that. But it does happen. There is no need to get upset over it (even tho it's easier said than done).

Haha, thanks Nicolette. He doesn't respond well to nagging - it generally starts a big fight. But Maybe I can find a more subtle way to remind him. Better figure something out quick - our anniversary is in 3 weeks.

Have you tried things like putting reminders in his mobile phone or a calendar somewhere general so he sees it often...like on the fridge?

Phone works well with Anthony and it doesn't seem like I am nagging him either :wink:

Hands up to all thats gone before, I know the dates but am always getting caught out that it's "that day already"!!!
Received a hand written envelope through the post the other week and you know how you get a bit excited wondering whose gone to the effort to write to you the old fashioned way. Well I was just about to open it when I realised it was too firm for a letter so it must be a card, maybe an invite, then remembered my birthday had come around again. I knew it was coming but was still suprised to find it was there already!!
I suggest you arrange to do something different on special days then you can keep reminding him right up to the day, things like "don't forget we're going bowling Tuesday" or "don't forget we're going out to eat next Friday" oh and don't forget to explain why, "BECAUSE IT'S" my birthday, our anniversary, Valentines day or whatever.
