Lil Bit is a female Shitzu. She barks at everybody and freaks when she sees a toddler (runs like hell). Couldn't ask for a better breed. They don't shed so allergies are not a problem. They have a bladder the size of a bucket and house train quick. Lil Bit comes and tells us when she needs to go out and she can read my mood faster than I can and cuddles up to let me know she is there for me. I guess she's a good PTSD dog.

Hi folks.
I do a lot of model making with plastic kits and metal cars. I've been doing it for years, but recently I'm really into it in a big way. But I need some help. I'm building a WW2 German Army Headquarters, and I've got tanks, motorcycles, soldiers, trucks. But I'm looking for a 1/35 Scale Mercedes Benz Army Staff Car. I've been on E-Bay and various modelling web sites but nothing, it is not complete without the car. Any ideas.
Cheers

New Discovery!!!!

 Needing to distract myself from a lot of maintainence commotion today I noticed on one of my basic cable channels a great set of shows...DIY...meaning Do It Yourself....between 11 am and on into the afternoon they have oodles of crafting programs....all sorts of things!!! Then there's a website that one can go to to do the same craft from TV plus alot of other things....I am really into art projects doing all sorts of "weird" things.... no just one type of art for me!!! It's inspired me to finish a project that I started before I moved....then I have a few ideas from the site for other one- of-a-kind art projects....the ones that I am crazy about use photographs!!! I have a ton of them that I've never done anything with so I am eager to get started once I've finished my present project!!! The site address is = www.diynetwork.com :loopy: .......ENJOYING THE PEACE

Okay... I've been saying I'm going to share something for a really long time. I still don't feel comfortable sharing anything recent. But here's some stuff I did when I was 16. The summer I was 16 I worked on the beach doing portraits for people. These are some of my sketches from observing people on the beach. Except not the lady with the cat eye glasses... that's my gran from an old photograph.

evie, these are wonderful! i especially love the baby--i think you captured that peacefulness that only innocence gives.

They're not indicative of what I do now though, my general theme is a lot darker and my style has changed dramatically. I don't really do realistic anymore. But thanks. I wish I could still do this stuff.

:thumbs-up Evie,

Your sketches are super fantastic!!!! You are a fantastic artist!

ranger checked out your sketches & says to let you know he is in awe of your abilities. The infant is incredible!

Have you ever done horses or dogs?

You are soooo lucky to have your talent & abilities. I can't even draw stick figures.

I play with photography & welding stuff.

Hope you continue to feel better & we are glad you are home!

Take Care

It will come again Evie. Peace comes after this long road. You know I am on pin and needles waiting to get to see the other art, as I think it would show so much more deep emotion. But you know that is only when you are ready. Art really can show a lot and move someone.

I am partial to the old man...
