This maybe sounds weird, but I am a comic book illustrator by training, and everyone who knows me says I'm very talented, yet I'm totally afraid to post anything here. Of course most of my recent stuff is very violent, but I have old things I could post. Still, I'm terrified.

I know I would love to see your work batgirl, and I have no doubt that many others would also, violent or not.

Oh okay well thanks. In that case I will try to find something in the next couple of days that I feel at least somewhat comfortable sharing.

batgirl, I had once done a painting about ptsd, and it was quite gruesome. I would definitely post it here since people here understand it. I, however, destroyed it out of a rage moment, so I don't have it and wished I did now. So please, show us your work, no matter how violent it is. Your work is welcome here....besides, this thread hasn't been revived in a while!

Oh that sounds cool Nam, your painting. It is too bad you destroyed it. My stuff isn't really art though... it's comics, and I'm not sure it has a lot of feeling in it, just people carrying guns and stuff. My avatar is something I drew. I drew my uncle's avatar as well. So you get the idea.

Actually I don't really know how to paint well lol. I like your paintings a lot.

If you feel like drawing more avatars batgirl, feel free and send them too me and I will upload them for member selection, ie. not personal one's for you, but things you see that fit PTSD sufferers the most. All art is welcome here, good, bad or otherwise, just know that.

Okay I will do that anthony, thanks. I like making avatars. I hope black and white or black and grey is okay though, because I don't work in colour.

Not sure if this qualifies as art?

This is a yard gate that my wife (wildcritter44) and I made. Every thing on it was cut out by hand. I guess metal is our medium,...maybe?
