Site Upgrade

Drafts are autosaved every 60 seconds, and a draft is stored for 24hrs. If your connection was lost, computer restarted, whatever the case, come back to the forum / thread you where starting a post / replying, and it will be there awaiting you.

You DO NOT need to click the save button in the editor to save your work... it will do it automatically for you. You can use that button to delete drafts or save them if you want to, above what is already occurring every 60 seconds.

I will complete the majority of the upgrade today, so most features should be returned in the next 12hrs, all going well. There are some that will take me the coming days to sort through, such as the stock trader and sports game... which is likely going to be a non-gambling version and will use a pickem style for this seasons NFL... thus points based, not monetary.

Absolutely looove the new look. Much prefer to the old one. I find it much more calming on the eye and mind and nice and clear. Blue is a cool colour too and so hopefully will calm down some of the hot heads. ;)

Premium Member and user group changes are occurring, as outlined prior. I am removing some features / down grading quantities for regular members versus premium members.

• PC attachments are reserved for premium members only now.
• PC editing time has been reduced for normal members.
• PC members invite reduced to 5, unlimited for premium.
• PC inbox size further reduced to 10 for members, unlimited for premium.
• Bookmarks are a premium feature only now.

More will follow.

You may be thinking that these are silly choices, but in-fact they're far from it. The above aspects take considerable room in the database and thus storage and load on the server. Premium members help with upgrades and unseen aspects to keep the site running to a high standard, above the already monthly server costs.

Thus... they get the features that can cause load because they're paying basically a communal reduced cost for issues that arise during the year and additions to the server and setup to maintain performance.

I'm liking the new look and its functionality :) But I miss seeing the little boxes for "likes" and "trophies" - They've been like little pats on the back, uplifting, during times of isolation or when critical self-thoughts predominate. :(

The scroll to the top of the page button is missed. I am hoping that and the trophies etc will be added back in eventually?

Also, please tone down the shade of blue, hurting my tired sleepless eyes!
