Sleep Or Lack Thereof

Ghosty, I am sorry I couldn't speak about that guilt part. I was bit scared.

I am trying this anyways, please don't get mad at me. I think your promise is built within you, it is connected with your integrity. You are right by hanging on to promise and proving it. You are that, you are one of those people who do well to fulfill promises.

I realized that my mother would never accept and love me about 5 months ago, it hurt
I did this,too. I started moving on from my mother in this year January month. It hurt me very much, now it doesn't. I understand how you feel with that.
Next time, lets go for crying me awake :p
Ghosty, I think your frustration comes out from making it work. It's not outside, it's like you are trying to manage yourself, make things happen and from there it comes out. I hope I am getting you right. If not, please feel free to clarify me.

You have very good spirit to hang in there. Got to admire it. :) :tup:
 
@Tanishq please don't be sorry and I'm not mad because you are right. What am I to my family, my students, my little soccer girls or even myself if I have no integrity and no honor.

I don't generally rely on others, but I think this week , until my appt, I am going to be needing cheerleading and I will be private messaging lots of you. :)

If I get truly annoying, just tell me.....I am good with that and don't get offended easy
 
@Ghostybear73 I don't think you came across annoying person to me. Your choice of words is very different and sometimes I find them very courageous to speak in that manner. Like you are trying to put the problem in simplistic manner and then try to solve it in funny manner. Nice way.

I am sorry that you are having such a hard time sleeping, and for what it is worth, I am praying for you.
 
I go through periods where I get very little sleep and when I do it's filled with nightmares. I haven't tried any sleep medicine and I won't (at least for now) so I know what you mean about struggling with the lack of sleep though maybe not to the extreme that you are.

I also wanted to say that your surgery story reminded me of something that happened to me after surgery.. It was kind of comical actually. I had a push button for morphine and it wasn't doing a thing for me. The funny part was that my husband was trying to call the nurse's station, but little did he know he was actually pushing the button for morphine. He probably maxed out the doses but it didn't matter I felt no effect from the medicine. I have recently been figuring out that it may have to do with my DID (which I was not aware of at the time).

I hope by a miracle of miracles your body will let you sleep a nice dreamless (or pleasant-filled dreams) sleep. Perhaps it will just give in to the exhaustion and sleep for once. Every once in a great while that will happen to me.
 
@Ghostybear73 I offer a very special. Laurie understands the sleep deprivation so well :hug:. I make no comparison at all. I don't sleep hardly for very different personal reasons.

I don't sleep much either. Rather lucky if I get over 4 hours of broken sleep. Ill have to get my thinking cap on and give you some suggestions of things that might help.

Have you tried melatoning or any of the other natural sleep aids?
