We've had more snow, fallen on the compacted snow that had frozen...really slippy. School closed! I was up there doing a bit of photography over the weekend and didn't think it was that bad-not complaining though!:D

Well we did not get out to the dentist. Buses not running, trains delayed and there was no way we were taking the car out.

As you can see its a bit thick.



Only thing that has gone wrong is we lost the signal for Sky TV. A well aimed brush soon sorted that though.

Local radio station says it is set in for the day. Thats OK by me, not planning on going anywhere today.

I was going to post that it had stopped. Naa it is coming down again.

H went to work and arrived safely - now he just needs to get home.

It stopped snowing at midnight but this morning there are a few flakes coming down, but very very light. I'll take another photo of the garden. H cleared me a path to the bird feeders.

I clomped down the garden in hubby's big boots to feed the birds. I must have looked right sight :roflmao:

Snow started here on Thursday night, and we had about 5 inches. It continued to snow for most of Friday, and temperatures have been low enough for no melting until today. I haven't been out in it at all. I hate the stuff! Plus I'm very accident prone in the best of circumstances.

I just got my grocery home delivery, so no need to go out just yet! I could hear the delivery van struggling to get through the ice and snow. My car is still covered in about 3 inches of snow, although I think it is thawing a little today. The road and paths outside my house are treacherous were the slush has frozen solid, so I won't be venturing out until I absolutely have to, or it thaws. Which ever comes first!

But I'm warm and cosy, and now have fresh food, wine and toilet paper(!), so I'm not complaining.
