The snow has nearly all melted here. Yay!! I don't think there's any more forecast for this area, as it's getting a little warmer and rain instead of snow is expected.

Ours is melting, although there is still about 8 inches in the garden. Pavements have turned into ice rinks. More snow is forecast for tomorrow night.

For tonight the problem is ice. We have a clear sky and the temp is down to about -6. I'm not looking forward to the roads in the morning. I'm lucky and don't have far to go.

The forecast says very heavy snow in the North west starting at lunch time.

It snowed when I left the supermarket at 11am but then it stopped and we don't have any more. Perhaps we will get more later. It is so very cold brrrrrrr! Accuweather says more from 4pm onwards.

I hope it doesn't get too bad as H is on his bike today and he will have to walk home if it gets heavy.

Where I am, we're down to little islands of ice everywhere. It's soooo cold today, though. The online weather forecast has a cloud with one snowflake and one raindrop. Does that mean sleet? Or that they can't make up their minds?

Promised snow here has arrived. No sign of any gritters and the road is covered. People really struggling to drive up the hill. If it keeps up all night then maybe I'll be eating my words about it 'not being that bad'.

The snow's been thawing here for two days. I hope we get some more. I like snow. I also like laughing my head off at the BBC reporting about folk completely flipping out about the slightest little flurry. Hundreds trapped overnight on the M6 because of half an inch of snow? I nearly choked on my weetabix.

I have the sun today , first time I have seen MR shiney for a long time. Lifts the spirits. The sky is even blue and the snow has almost melted.

It is such a British thing chatting about the weather haha ;)

and all the fuss you hear on the news you would have thought it was armageddon. :)

No seriously, I hope everyone is safe and warm where ever you are.:hug:

But Berkshire is looking good today. :)
