"I was only joking when I said after 2 yrs of therapy you still have constant PTSD, you actually have made a complete recovery".

Mother: 'You're not the evil one, I am. I shouldn't have done any of it.'
Father: 'Your mother's dead...let's have a party now we're both free'

Husband_
Ya know, honey, I think you are the most beautiful woman in the world and that makes me want to stop looking at images of other women. Period.

"I'm sorry you had such a rough childhood. Sorry I assumed you had it so good and were happy just because your disposition was always sunny on the outside."

Mother: "I was wrong."

I've never heard her say that once in my entire life. A true narcissistic.

Father: "I'm sorry for abandoning you."

Grandmother: "It sure is hot here in hell."

Every Single Man, Woman, and Child Who Has Bullied Me: "I'm sorry. You are a good person. And now we have to reap our karma and pay for what we have done."

Mother: I am sorry for what I did to you .. I was a broken and abused child too, but that is no excuse. I wish I could have been the mother you needed and deserved.

Adult Female Bullies: "Sorry we didn't believe that our professor was sexually harassing you and we ganged up on you multiple times a week for months on end. Sorry for calling you a whore and a slut when we knew deep down that you were a victim in all of this and he was propositioning you, not the other way around. Sorry for all the vicious, catty rumors, too. We know nothing happened between the two of you because you made sure to stay away from him and we saw just how scared of and threatened by him you were. Fact is, we were threatened by you and jealous of you. We enjoyed knowing that you were suffering by our hands and only wanted to rub salt in your wound in order to feel better about ourselves. We are truly sorry for putting nails in your car's tires and harassing you to the point that you decided to drop out of school just before graduation and had a mental breakdown and tried to kill yourself a year later because of it. We wish there was a way to make it up to you, but we know there isn't. We know it's ironic and unfair that we are counselors now and you aren't; it's not right. We are full of hate and ugliness. We wish we could be as compassionate, loving, empathetic, beautiful, intelligent, kind and forgiving as you."

Boyfriend: "Hey, honey. I know we live in a huge 6 bedroom manor and I'm sorry I have to be everywhere you are all of the time. I confess that I always tail you around the house like a lost puppy dog. At first I know you found it to be quite endearing, but now I can tell it's getting on your nerves. Sorry I can be so insecure at times, but I really like being around you. However, I know that privacy and alone time is very important to you. I have heard you say that for the majority of your life you have been alone and you are an introvert, so from now on I will respect your privacy and find something else to do while you are trying to unwind. And I promise I won't get upset anymore when you insist on being alone or going places alone. I know you are not cheating on me and you are a loyal person."

Old Coworkers: "Sorry we didn't have the balls to stand up for what was right. We wish we could have 1/10 of your courage and dignity. We may not say it out loud, but we respect you."
