Supporter: (1) : to promote the interests or cause of (2) : to uphold or defend as valid or right : advocate <supports fair play>

I think this is a good thread and I think it promotes community. I don't think we should all just go 'poll crazy' - because some things are just common sense and aren't really worth debating. But yeah, if a thousand voices were never heard nothing would have ever changed for the better over the course of history.

This is exactly how positive change occurs.Good on you ITL.

In short - if there are enough people in some way, shape or form 'asking' for a poll - then yes, maybe it is worth a vote.

I've just tracked backwards from the two polls currently running and a new thread in chitchat.

This will always be a no win situation as we are all different people at different stages of dealing with ptsd and what might seem upsetting now could easily appear the obvious solution in a months time. For myself I feel in pretty good shape at the moment so quite indifferent to any label and my wife doesn't come here so I'm not affected on that side of things either.

My son is a hay fever sufferer and I have a friend who suffers with migraines neither are offended by the term sufferer. As Ptsd effects both those who have it plus those who live with or love them we all suffer to some degree so maybe we ought to have sufferers and sufferers by proxy.

But maybe better still how about the Haves and the Have nots !
