Tattoos Anyone?

I have 4 in each ear. Cartilage hurt the worst, and is still healing.

I find my tattoo more satisfying...worth while. I love the art in them, they all have meaning for me. Personal.

Tattoos = self-harming? Wow. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone getting a tattoo just for the sake of "hurting" oneself. And who are "they" exactly? The ones who have decided this? Ludicrous.

I have one ankle wrap, got it once I found out I was to be a grandma - it has a very special meaning to me and it's something I will have with me always. Never once did I feel I was harming myself.

Such lunatics we have out there, trying to label people's actions. Sounds like San Francisco, or was it Seattle, that is now labeling circumcision a form of mutilation? Crikey.

Yeah, me too, except I am more of the 'get piecrings for self-harming' type. There are motivations and motivations....

I guess it can be self-harming...I know a girl who I suspect uses it like that. For me, the pain of the tattoo is the inconvenience you have to deal with in order to have the final outcome. Same with piercings.

1 tattoo, 1 piercing (aside from basic ears), love both :D. Simplicity is beauty, sometimes.
