My insurance is crap locally but at least my hospitalizations are covered. I don't even think I'd qualify to go into treatment because I don't have a therapist. It's like that stupid social rule where nobody wants to be your friend unless you already have a lot of friends.
 
You are loved, you are wanted, you are stronger than it may seem right now. No matter how bad it feels keep reaching out, to us, to those who are trying to support you and be there for you, to your psychiatrist if possible, to God if you pray. Please hang in there okay? Its okay not to know how to participate in your own healing you can't do it on your own all the time. We love you and we are rooting for you.
 
Seems like there's a lot of info out there if you look for it. I highly doubt I would do well in a group program but who knows. I think I would feel pretty vulnerable and expected to perform or "get it". Even if that's not true.

I don't know all your reasons or what you've tried in the past. But I am glad that you are free to say exactly what you mean here. I do.
 
I guess I'm pretty ignorant of these things - how much time do these day programs take? Is it all day everyday? or are there different options for times?

You mentioned before that you have a psychiatrist following you. Can you get any suggestions there?

It seems to me - based only on my own experience, that if I honestly thought I could do it, I would want to do this on my own. I want to put this whole thing behind me on my own. Walk away from therapy and the homework etc... so I guess on some level, being left alone sounds good, but in other ways, I know I'm not ready for that right now.

But no options is also pretty scary.
 
If you're still in your current location, are there therapists you're familiar with from prior treatment? or would ever consider going back to?

I may just be rehashing what others have already asked, answered...
