Ok... round three with the biscuits. Currently have six in the oven after making the mix drier, allowing it to rise with yeast, then spooning it on without really disturbing the messy state of the mixture. Hopefully, I get a nice choc chip cookie this time, which has basically zero fat and calories, and tastes awesome.

The first batch tasted yummy, and I ate them all even though a little soggy.... same mix, just refined. Fingers are crossed. :nailbiting:

Going well. Went out for lunch and dinner last night and had a day off and neither of us craved anything nor ate anything evil... nice but we are both okay with the food now. I have trouble onsite with clients who cook me cakes or want to make me lunch and it's a bit hard to 'take lunch' out on the road but not too bad.

Anthony is looking great... losing weight in good places but not in the face etc so I'm impressed. I haven't exercised this week but my pants tend to be a lot looser than before (but upper body has grown... hormones? :cautious:) and I lost weight in the areas I normally struggle with - nothing huge but I'm eating as much as I want and don't need to loose any more weight really - just tone up.

I would like to exercise as it makes me feel better but other than that I have noticed Anthony doesn't sit and read a book with a hand in a box of food as if he wants something he has to get up and make it, so he's not boredom eating as much (laziness wins :whistling:).
 
I have to do more experimenting with my chocolate chip oatbran cookies today... as they are an awesome snack, 100% healthy and near zero calories and fat... I just need to get the mix right. The last batch were to moist and chewy... they needed to be drier at the mix so the bran crisped a little and gave it that soft / crunchy texture a good biscuit should have. Have to work on that today.

I am impressed with the search for a crunchy texture that a good biscuit should have! These things are important!
