I'm LOVIN' it!!!

History has been made today.

Now just waiting for the speech by the future first gentleman himself! :)

Bill is a good talker :-) Can't say I agreed with every official thing he did while president, but overall, I think he did a pretty good job and I'm glad he will be there with Hillary. He is a way good talker!! Probably one of the traits that got him into trouble with other women, blech. But even MLK cheated on his wife. Not at all sayin' it's okay, but it happens with charismatic people who obviously have some issues.

Growing up, I never thought I would see a woman as a major candidate for President. I hope I get to see a woman not only as a candidate, but as President! I really think that Clinton has the experience and temperament to do the job well.

I was thinking last night that it would take an amazingly strong person just to run for President. I can't imagine the long hours of constantly being "on" and looking cheerful and enthusiastic. No matter how you truly felt inside, you would always have to present as well-rested and ready to engage.

Me, too, Sugnim. Especially now, when it's a choice between Hillary and Trump. I would vote for anyone against Trump, but really look forward to voting for, hopefully, our first woman president! She is flawed, yeah. Who is not? But her flaws are way minor compared to Trump's. He scares the hell out of me.

President Obama's speech at the convention last night was fantastic & inspiring. I'm looking forward to hearing Hillary Clinton speak!

I totally agree, Sugnim. That man can sure give a speech! I'm gonna miss him.

Hillary gave a great speech! Full of substance and heart and good values. Chelsea was pretty awesome, too!!

Aaaaaannnnnndddddd the latest polls show Hillary is up by 9.......NINE!!!......points in Pennsylvania.

With VA and FL that would be game over! No need for Ohio with those 3 says 270 to win. :)

Too bad the election isn't tomorrow...Lots of ugliness ahead. The debates will be...something!! Class and dignity vs buffoonary.

I've changed my avatar! Perhaps slightly off topic but it very much relates to having our first female president! (Fingers crossed, lol.) Well, back in 1995 the image in my avatar was put on a tee shirt and sold at Wal-Mart. Some people complained and the shirt was pulled from shelves because it didn't align with "family values".....! I think it's an awesome shirt and I am loving the fact that history is finally changing with the nomination of Hillary. It just goes to show how far we've come over the past few decades! Now on to November! OMG thinking ahead it would be so awesome to be at the inauguration but I know my symposiums.....hahaha darn autocorrect-----symptoms would go haywire!

@watundah Lets hope there are debates. There aren't any rules saying that candidates must debate, I don't believe. I have a feeling that there may indeed be fewer than in the past. :-/

Im not sure that there are many advantages to debates at this point when the media train is pretty much driving the campaigns. I'm loving the idea of Barack, Michelle, Joe, and BIll all being on the campaign trail for her while Trump has....mmm....uhhhh...yeah....The first debate is September 26. I see a woman with grace and dignity tolerating insults from a raggy haired tyrant - the representative for the Angry White Male - I ask myself, what do white men have to be angry about? The fact that the rest of us are struggling to catch up? GO HILLLLLL!!!!!!!
