A friend of mine knows Hillary well as their daughters went to school together. She (my friend) is such a lovely, kind person. Yet when she posted just a personal pro-Hill anecdote on her FB wall, her "friends" and some family tore her apart! I'm so disgusted by this behavior. I stood up for her. She's personally devastated. Really, such behavior is bullying and wholly intended to quash women's voices on their own social media accounts. That is NEVER acceptable, no matter who does it.

I worked late into the night for a local candidate. Our billionaire GOP Gov gave his opponent almost half a million to defeat him. He is a moderate but they have dragged his family and him through the mud in our small town because our current rep votes against us and with him every time. It's astounding.

The local police and fire "leaders" (all GOP far right wing, entitled white men with serious ethics issues, except for one) created an award for her earlier this week and they put her 'ceremony' in the paper. No other women or minorities in evidence. The good 'ol boy network is alive and well. I feel sorry for their wives, girlfriends, and daughters. Several are cheating on their spouses, including the ones who are leaders in their churches. It's just disgusting that we have to have such flawed leaders at all levels of government.

I really believe we must fight for our human rights and equality as women because of such crap. I sure hope Hillary wins, but if not, I'm still going to keep fighting.

I don't know that I'll be able to maintain friendships with the Trump supporters, though. It hurts my heart to write that.

That is a terrible thing to say. Politics and personal life should be separate.

I am a woman. I sure as hell do not want our first lady president to be Hillary Clinton. A lying, manipulative, middle class hater, phony, corrupt billionaire who reaps the benefits despite the little people she walks all over. I hope Killary goes to jail as well as her rapist disgusting husband! You cannot argue the type of woman Hillary is, who stands by her man who has been accused of sexual misconduct IN the white house, who has admitted to having affairs with women while married and doing disgusting sexual acts IN the white house with women!! Hillary is not someone I want my daughter to look up to and know as the first woman president.

Me, too. I just got back. I ran into two people I know voted for Trump. Ugh. I don't feel like going out...

Both my parents voted for Trump. :(

Has anyone seen Hillary's new ad today? It's beautiful, and for once, not throwing Trump's own words out there (which I think was effective, but dang it got hard on the ears). This is the one that shows all kinds of people with the words "I am voting for ___" and it's all positive.

I agree that one shouldn't stop speaking to someone based off of whom they vote for as it is their American right to vote for whom they want to.

Thought I do NOT want Trump has my next President. I think between the two only, Clinton would be the better option. Though, if minimuim wage is increased that high, I am wondering how much a hamburger would be. I would love to be paid more but I am worried about cost of living sky rocketing. Especially in Florida where price of living is already sky high.

I appologize as I just couldn't follow the campain. Does anyone know that if Clinton increases wages, how she plains to not raise price of living.

First results are trickling in but they are in deep red states. News is really hyping up results from non battleground states. Gotta make it exciting! Lol.

My mom worked the polls today. She was so exhausted that she went to bed. She asked me to call/text her with news.

Hi gals. Been away from the forum for a break in all things trauma. Now it's election night and I'm alone and I want some company. I have admired Hillary for years. She is clearly the right choice but as most of us know, men are loose cannons and I hope all the minorities and LGBT folks get out and vote for her. My daughter and I plan to travel to D.C. To her inauguration. She's going to stay up late and order our tickets if Hillary gets Florida and Ohio. She has a good friend that in the hotel business so we'll get a free room. I am 62 and I've been in many siting and protest marches for women's rights back in the seventies. I hope my dream comes true tonight.
