Listening to the rain when I am safe and warm indoors.

Watching the rain knowing we are home from a few days away and don't have to worry about it now.

Spending quality time with my family and friends. I had two phone calls today. I am going to my friends house tomorrow and I have a therapy appointment on Friday to begin to deal with the grief and loss of losing my husband. I will go to my daughters house on Saturday and Sunday. It does my heart so good.

When my son's take time to sit down and talk to me. They both did at separate times today. Just shot the breeze with them. It was nice, especially since they are teens and they still enjoy speaking with me.

Having family and friends that love me. Spending time with them. I cannot wait until I go to my daughters house for two days.

Having Star (now a full grown cat, I had rescued her, as a kitten, from an abusive home) come up to me, and purr before I have petted her. Seeing all three of my cats, sleeping beside me, on my bed, after a very rough night.

Being able to go to the store and knowing what I'm going to eat for the day. It's taken me some time to decide what I need to eat, but it's getting better every day as I have a better plan to follow!
