Never be in such a hurry that you don't stop to think about the colors of the clothes you are putting into the washing machine. "Oh that red one is so old we can surely wash it with the whites" is one of my most infamous quotes - my then-boyfriend, now husband did not exactly thank me for a machine load of pink T-shirts, some of them almost brand new. And I hate pink myself.

We managed to salvage most of the T-shirts with repeated bleach+rewash (some needed five rounds!) - but of course the newest ones did not look new at all after such a treatment :doh:

This made me LOL! When I was pregnant with my daughter, my then-husband (her dad) was upset that we had used "the good boy name" on our cat. He seriously gave consideration to naming her the same name as the cat if she were a boy. Thank goodness she was a girl and I didn't have to fight that fight!
