Sitting here getting ready to go out and celebrate with a bunch of friends and I want to cry. I want to cry because I freaked out when my sister came home while I was taking a shower. I had forgotten what time it was and had the stereo playing while I went in to shower. All of a sudden I hear it just shut off. I didn't hear anything else but silence so I shut the water off, grabbed my towel, and slowly creeped around the bathroom door only to find out it was her who had come home and turned it off. The closer this damn court date gets, the more anxious and paranoid I get. I want my old life of not caring back. :(

Sending you healing energy and thinking of you for when you go to court. I would be so anxious as well. You are doing very well facing this challenge. When I had to go to court, I did not get justice and I was so upset. So I hope for you that you will get some justice for taking a stand and being so brave and courageous. Hugs.

Hi gone girl. Sorry to hear your panic attacks are are so bad. When I'm home alone I put something heavy in from if the door when I'm sleeping or showering. If someone came in the last thing I would do is give away my position
I would wait for ur sister to call out. But I would never never go looking for them. I've had to come home a few times n holler. I've got a gun and I'm not afraid to use it. If you wanna leave you better show itself now. U also set things in front if closet doors because a person could not get in there then replace the object. I know it sounds paranoid but that what my self defence training says. Never give away your position if u don't know who's in the house.Lock the bathroom door and keep a baseball bat ( or shotgun) behind the door
Anxiety is a pain in the aws but I am extremely careful not to let my self be a target again

Thankfully I know he is locked up.... I just can't get myself to think that in my head. My dad is moving about half an hour away from us, leaving my sister and I with the house. My friend will be moving in but she's a scaredy cat naturally! We also live in the woods.... my grandfather lives right down the hill and my uncle is just across the bridge down the street. Grandfather sleeps with a pistol next to his bed and my uncle would whip out his shot gun for us in a second. My dad always wanted ys to learn how to shoot and now that he'll be moving I definitely think I'm going to learn.... possibly even get myself a gun.
