Day 5b: I am really, really looking forward to trying the egg nog cookies I just made from scratch. The are cooling down, then I want to ice them

they were a good first attempt. The next batch I will cut the nutmeg in half and not cook them quite so long.

I went on a major shopping trip to the next state today with some friends. We took the bus. I am looking forward to arranging the gifts I bought and wrapping them and mailing them. So I have that done early in the season, before the Post Office gets overloaded and crowded. I'm planning on mailing the things Priority too, so I know they will arrive in a timely fashion. Some presents I will deliver personally, including a few on Christmas day and some on the 23rd. I will tell you more about those things as I go along and also when I have completed them.
