Day 10: I am looking forward to getting my kindle back!! My daughter keeps snatching it so she can read her books. Well my son got her a kindle, so she can use her own little device to read her books and when I want to read, mine will be there!

Day 9: I am looking forward to waking up Christmas morning, logging onto my PTSD and wishing all of you a wonderful Merry Christmas.

Day 9: I am looking forward to calling my son and wishing him a Merry Christmas.

My mom and siblings are moving back on the 26th! So that makes me super excited for Christmas:)

Now I don't need to mail their gifts!

I am looking forward to my daughter and her boyfriend coming to our home on Christmas morning. She said that since they have opened most of their gifts, they will be able to come over early! Tee hee.

I get my new bedding. I made a deal with my husband that if his dad gives us money for christmas(he always does) could we get new bedding and he said yes. I'm so excited. I'm going to wrap it and put it under our tree. :)

Day 8: I am looking for to having my granddaughter help me cook Christmas dinner.

Looking forward to breakfast brunch with my father in law. He use to live next door and we started a tradition where he comes over early on Christmas morning to watch the boys unwrap the gifts. Not as fun as when the kids were younger but we still do it.

Day 7: I am looking forward to my daughter and I spending the whole day in our pajamas doing nothing but relaxing.

I know I have mentioned this already, but I am really excited about eating all of Santas cookies (okay, I will leave him one). Do you guys know santa likes oatmeal cookies? Everyone thinks chocolate chip, but I know from experience that it is oatmeal! ;)

I am looking forward to spending time wrapping gifts today. This will be my double check to be sure that I have one for everyone on the list. I will also go out and finish buying the gift cards for the homeless. The extreme cold here really reminds me of the need for the homeless right now. Given a slightly different set of circumstances, I believe that I could have become one myself.

Since October 24th I have:
Had co-workers treat me in an unkind manner causing the most severe emotioal flashback I have ever suffered.
Had my step-father in law pass away
Had my co workers express concern, with no reason, that I might hurt myself, or them causing me to be place on suspension pending an investigation.
Been told, today, my mother-in- law will most likely die within the week.

In spite of all this I am looking forward to Christmas and celebrating the birth of Christ.

I'm so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time at work and that your step-father passed away. Mine was shot and killed last year so I know how hard it can be. Keep praying that your mother-in-law passes peacefully and I hope you will be able to spend some time with her before. I think your spirit is to be admired, I know I do. Big hugs :hug:

As to your co-workers, I have learned that they stab you in the back before you even start to turn around, so I don't associate with them unless it is business.

I don't believe in God, but I do know religion and prayer, so I will pray for you and your family because you do believe and that is all that matters!!!!
