Day 7: I am looking forward to the end of Christmas. Yes, I hate the holiday, but that's not why I want it to end. On the 28th, I get to see my son!!! I have to drive 10 hours to see him, but at least I get to see him before he deloys. :D

Today my husband and I are off to see my psychiatrist. I got him a box of Turtles and a couple of pet toys for Christmas. He has many pets and loves them, so I think he will have fun with the gift. I can't imagine having his job, so I hope he enjoys the pet toys. :joyful:

Looking forward to the 29th when we will celebrate Christmas with my dad and the rest of our family. My parent's were divorced so I seem to have two sides to my family. More then that when I was younger. This involves my dad, step mother, and two additional siblings. When we get together there are over 30 people, including children. It is rough on my nerves, but, I've come to realize that once I get there and find my comfort ground, I am all right. So I am looking forward to this.

@RussH I'm so sorry to hear about your step father in law and now your mother in law. Hard when it happens around the holidays. Holding your hand if needed. Hugs.

My mother-in-law is not doing well, so we are heading down state. I most likely will not be able to post for a couple of days, but I will continue to make a mental list of things I am looking forward to this Christmas.

Day 8: I am looking forward stuffing the christmas stockings with lots of goodies for the grandkids.

I am going with my daughter to bottle her Christmas gift today. I bought her a do-it-yourself white wine package at a wine making store. My husband 'dropped the yeast' in October and it is ready to bottle today. We are both looking forward to trying this. It's a Christmas gift and activity rolled into one.

I'm looking forward to the 24th and making our own traditions. That use to be the day we got together with my mom. Now that she is gone we are home together. I think I'm going to buy brie, bread, apples, for a light evening dinner. Yum

Day 6: I am looking forward to getting my favorite christmas cookies fresh. My friend usually makes them and mails them, but since I'm going that way to visit my son, I'm gonna stop at my friends on the way....yum yum
