I forget if I mentioned that the Salvation Army is coming to the Senior Center this week with gifts for all of us Senior Citizens. I asked for some new bath towels, and sheets for my bed. Also, I ordered a comforter for my bed, which is my Christmas present to me. I think when you don't get a lot of presents and no family lives nearby, you have to do something to celebrate in your own way. I love green, and this comforter has a lot of green coloring in it, but some others too. It will be pretty and I will enjoy it all year long!

Also, I was so happy to get to go to the local Christmas Cantata at a church 5 miles or so from here last night. Our church had some folks singing in it. And I sang a long with those carols that I knew. They gave us an ornament for our trees too, but since my tree is only 2 feet tall, I hung it on my wall. It looks nice there too.
