For a few years from the age of five my dad forced me to take his lithium. I now have a cardiovascular and thyroid autoimmune disorder which doctors I have seen about stabilizing my thyroid all say was undoubtedly triggered by being plied with my dad's meds as I was being forced to take the dose of an adult man and was underage to be taking the drug ful stop then there's the elephantine doses I was taking and basically my body was screwed. At the time this was the least of my worries in fact I think I was only forced to take his meds so i couldn't fight off the other shit that was happening not at his hands but I'm pretty sure he knew about what they were doing, I mean, there is a difference between normal childhood injuries and suspicious childhood injuries right? And he questioned f*ck all as I can only assume he didn't give a rat's ads plus he was in the room when one of the priests hurt me so what he went temporarily blind and deaf so he couldn't see what was happening or hear my screams? Now that I'm older it matters more as he has caused me irreversible physical damage and left me with a lifelong medical condition that I have to take medication that I hate the side effects of every day the rest of my life. Anyways that was a round the octopuses way of asking if anyone else is on levothyroxine and what side effects you experience and how it effects your weight, heart, ability to excercise and all that jazz. Please reply if u have any experience of this as I'm in a dark place with this at the mo and am considering stopping taking my meds against docs advice. Have seen an endocrinologist but he did nothing to help but have moved docs since so maybe should ask for another refferall?
