I see this thread is a couple of months old but I just found it.

I'm not sure if what I experience is the...
SNAFU, Im absolutely lost for words. What they did to you was so wrong!
So sorry that you have to endure the continuing after effects of having been both wrongly medicated and overdosed.
Check out the hearing voices movement, on Wikipedia. The voices or sounds are a normal part of human experience for about 10% of the population, they are not hallucinations.

If you search "resonance" and my name, I've made a few posts recently where I go into greater depth.

The psychiatry industry needs a few class actions. American and Soviet conceptions of schizophrenia were around 5 times broader than in other developed countries, and it was around thirty to forty years from the introduction of neuroleptics before any trials were done to assess dose vs benefit vs side effects.
Side effects continue increasing in linear manner with dose, but "benefits" have stopped accruing by the time a daily dose of about 350mg is reached.

Anarchy - thank you for the suggestions for where to get more info. I have quickly read them. I have my 2year old granddaughter coming soon so I don't have much time. I have added them to a list I keep near me of things to read/look up when I get the chance.

Along with my PTSD and MDD symptoms I have within the past year seem to have developed problems with reading and visual comprehension. Today it's pretty bad due to frequent zoning out. Yesterday was a very emotionally stressful. Still trying to heal from that.

I hope this makes sense. Writing is difficult due to the comprehesion, zoning out and severe short term memory problems. In short....I'm a mess.

@Snafu - I have MDD and PTSD as well. If it helps to know this: inability to focus, remember, connect words to thoughts and/or images, difficultly speaking - all these are symptoms of major depression. I know that doesn't make them go away, knowing that, but I hope it might at least help you feel less like its a whole new symptom set.

I'm sorry you're struggling right now. Sending you as many good thoughts as I can muster.

Hello, I'm French and I'm 22.I know this thread is old but I would like to have more information. For 7 years, I've done some weird movements :
- I crack my knuckles over my chin. I also crack my wrists by the same way, my elbows and my shoulders
- I roll my neck
- I bite my lips
- Sometimes, I roll my eyes but it's more occasional

If I don't make these movements, I can feel tension until I make it.
I would like to know if this could be a tic disorder

Since I made this post I've read more about tics and also talked to a proffesional about it, and basically tics are just involuntary movements or sounds. They can be either motor tics, which come in two types, simple and complex, or vocal tics. Simple motor tics are single movements, and complex tics are a series of large movements that involve several muscle groups, such as jumping and then touching the ground. Vocal tics are sounds, like clearing your throat, squeaking noises and sometimes words or phrases.

Only motor tics or only vocal tics may be chronic motor tic disorder, and both may be tourette syndrome. I think both require that you've had tics nearly every day for more than one year, with no tic free periods that have been longer than 3 months.

I know EXACTLY what you mean by if you don't make the movements you get tension until you do. I currently mostly have a squeaking sound that I make, often while blinking and nodding. I also get a sniffing tic, and just blinking, a head twitch and sometimes some weird shit with my hands, but that one I don't get often. I've not bothered getting it tested, cause I also have ADHD and tic disorders and ADHD tend to be good friends ( :P ), but if you wanna get tested you should just get a referral to a neurologist.
