I am the mom of daughters who were molested by their father. One told me and then the others shared their story. It was hard as I my heart broke for the pain and suffering they endured. There was never a time I did not believe them, and I was by their side as the went forward with pressing charges and through the trial.
You will have to make your own decisions in regard to if and when you tell, but never hold yourself responsible for the abuse. You were innocent and he was guilty.
