General Trauma Or Trigger Which Is Which ?

Hi everyone.

I've looking around the forum reading different articles and threads. I must admit I never expected to find so many people affected by PTSD, both sufferers and carers alike, felt less alone and a little more knowledgeable.

I've always thought that my wife's PTSD was build up and then explosion and then she needs space to ease back down (that when I usually get the boot) then when she's emptied her hostility that's when she starts missing me again and we slowly get back together. I've had a lot of time to think about all the events of the past 6 or 7 years. I've always though that the PTSD was from one specific trauma followed by the build ups. Seems that I was wrong.

I've listed in chronological order (as best I can recall) the different events that have happened and my question is what is/are the traumas and what are the triggers? I think I've figured it out but I'm looking for another view(s).

• 1st miscarriage (July 2001)
• 2nd pregnancy (September 2001 / June 2002)
• Baby almost fatal chocking (June 2003)
• Baby develops multiple food allergies.
• Sister ugly break up (January 2004)
• 2nd miscarriage (January 2004)

our first separation (June 2004) 6 months then all was fine

• Falls down flight with 2nd baby in her arms, broke arm bad, baby didn't have a scratch (Bless her soul) (September 2007)
• Wasn't able to take care of baby for 2 months because of arm

second separation, I left this time (May 2008) 4 months

• Oldest son has allergic reaction to something he normally eats (September 2008)

• Grand father dies (December 2008)

Bad times be we stayed together

• Our niece (12) moves in with us, her parents cant deal with her (august 2009)
• Youngest son has allergic reaction to some food. (October 2009)

March 2010 out the door I go, doesn't love me anymore (we were shopping for a house)

If I look at all we've been through it seems surreal .
