Do you know how many guys have asked me to simply ----try---- to trust?

It's kind of crazy! For the longest time I didn't even know I was unable to trust.

How do you explain to someone who grew up in a loving/trusting environment that you have no clue how to trust, or even really know what it means to open up and trust someone on a deeper level?

I havent been able to do this either and i get the "just try" so much too. It takes time! You show me over a LONG period of time that you are trustworthy then maybe, but thats still a big maybe!

I have a friend that I've known for a few years that I'm just now starting to trust. My friend knows I have major trust issues. I am kind of amazed that things haven't totally blown up by now between us. Most people aren't willing to stick it out with me which stinks. But to my credit, once the trust starts creeping in, chances are that the friendship is pretty tight and I tend to not run away [so much].

I think you should just try to drive that car even though you've never even been in a car before----

Why are your trust issues so expensive, I'd buy them five bucks tops.

Why are you guys so bent on selling your trust issues to the highest bidder? Wouldn't it be the other way around and you'd pay someone to take them away?

Nah... I'm like a bloodhound when I'm fixated on a self issue. I sniff it out, seek, learn, understand, then destroy the damn thing. Don't need to pay anyone, and got nothing to sell... other than PTSD itself. Now that I would pay to get rid off.

@sun seeker isnt selling trust issues getting money to have someone to take the issues away? Selling is, afterall, is getting money for something else. But you're getting money, not paying someone.

And hell yes id rather get money on something rather than pay someone to rid me of it.

But, I also ditto Anthony's statement. Id borrow every last dollar i could and draw out every last dollar i have to pay someone to make me "ok". Couldnt just say take PTSD away as i have way more issues than that.
