Poll Valentines Style - Rate It Or Hate It?

Feedback on styles is always good, so I can use member remarks to improve it for next year or leave it alone.

I'm assuming 'rate it' means I like it. I gave up trying to keep up a long time ago. LOL I like it. Maybe tone the colors down just a wee bit. It was a bit of a shock opening up the forum.

It is a *little bit* shocking !?! I'm having some issue with the purple writing. Just a bit over the top maybe! Sorry but I 'm not exactly in love with the colors, designs or concept. Sorry

I think it's charming. I just got back from the ER. My daughter, who I don't really talk about with her Crohn's Disease had a flare.She's had Crohn's since she was an infant and is 18 now. It's a bad one, requiring infection drainage and surgery now. I logged on because it's nice to see strong people who also happen to have PTSD having the stressfull moments in life and just plain dealing with them well like so many here do. It's helpful. The Valentine's banner was so cheerful and unexpected that it just lightened the outlook a bit.

Anyway, in answer to the question, I like it. It's very nice, and thank you for the pick-me-up.

Actually, the more I look at it, while a mad colour pink lover, I would have preferred something less harsh than the pink which matched with the red and gold versus clashing. I guess the problem would be getting it to stand out against the red versus blending in but I have never been a lover of pink and red together. That being said, I am no creative genius and could not offer any suggestions on how to change it. Love the header and footer though and the gold borders.

Typically I'd not think of pink and red going together, however as it's used here I find the light blend of it looks fine and helps for reading the black text upon it. And, the light purple text looks great and all, I mean really cheerful and makes for easy reading upon any white background, but when its background is any color but white, (in limited spaces) quite honesty I can barely see it to read, it's a struggle; I only mention any of that because you said you wanted feedback.

Overall, though it looks super nice and as for colors, these colors, as well as others as in the green with the new logo, it's all pretty damn cool. Thank you Anthony for following through with your ideas, being creative and sharing it with us and so many, and for your excellent countless efforts and hard work. Much to be proud of in creating and sharing so much.

Like it. Bold and eye catching but I had a little trouble reading it and had to hunt for things until I got used to it. A fun idea--can hardly wait to see Easter.

I find the background itself a little too noisy so it pulls my attention there rather than to the menu options. Also the colors (such as pink links over red background) Make things hard to read.

However the design of the background itself is really well done, I just think it needs to be a bit more subtle to work with the forums. :) (Sorry my girlfriend is a web developer so I hear a lot of this stuff all the time.)

I voted for hate it. The colours made it really hard for me to read anything.. got an instant headache.. if the colours didn't wash out the writing I'm sure I wouldn't have minded quite as much.
