Okay so I don't think this is related to PTSD (I guess I could be wrong), but my vision vibrates a lot in the dark. It's as is everything is flashing really fast, or kind of like the shutters on a window are vibrating.
Other than that I don't know how else to explain it. Since a child I've always seen 'snow' very slightly, which I always thought just meant I could see particles and that was just normal. Sounds silly, I know. But I didn't know that most people do not see that - or at least from what I can tell from doing a little research. It's not super bad, like right before you pass out and it's like your entire vision is snow on a television screen. It's just very slight, as if everything is made up of these little 'snow' particles. Hence why I always thought it was just particles. But as I've gotten older I've either gotten very used to the snow, or it has just lessened.
God, that sounds so stupid (about the particles thing). And I'm not sure if it is even related at all, but when I Googled 'vibrating vision' that is what I got. So maybe it's worth mentioning. Anyways, on a scale of one to ten on how dark it is (one being the lightest) if it's a seven and up... My vision won't cease to vibrate as I described above. I do have a stigma and I am VERY near-sited, although I can see as clear as glass up close. I have glasses that are up to date and at when I get my eyes checked up on, I always have 20/20 with my lenses. But for some reason I still don't see as well as a lot of other people.
But this vibration at night can be so intense that it makes me extremely confused. I won't necessarily get dizzy, but I have to walk very, very slowly otherwise I trip and fall at normal pace because I cannot see straight even though it isn't pitch black and I know I should be able to see because someone else (that might be with more or whatever) can.
Does anyone know what this means? Is it of any concern or is this completely normal?
