Waking Up With Anxiety

I often wake up with full in anxiety and it pretty much ruins my day. Afraid to move, leave the house, or do any errands etc.

Anyone have any ideas as to how to cut the anxiety in the beginning? Meaning as soon as I wake up. Because really, who knows… Anxiety could've been going on all night :-) In fact I believe it does because I started realizing that the numerous times I wake up little of the night I have extreme sweats... Even though I keep my apartments temperature ar a really really cold level. Oy, so tired
 
YES and I feel for you!! I can't even get out of bed. I think I have nightmares that don't wake me up but I have the physical emotional reaction to them. Since I've been taking yoga and listening to guided meditation at bedtime, I am sleeping very well and have not waken up in a panic for a couple of months. I also get reiki treatments and I am functioning better overall. That's not to say I'm cured. I'm not. I have low days with cutting craving and SI. Only now I ride it out and email my therapist and I get wonderful support here.
 
Whooooooooo....I did one time and boy I thought I was going to throw up! I was NOT a happy camper. My costochondritis was on high alert and the medication was coming head on. Then again, here come my cats fighting on the bed over a catnip blunt I bought for each of them as one was trying to steal from the other one...

I say stay in bed, relax and play referee to two cats acting like tools.
