Your not old at all. Not in a million years will you be old at 54, I am only a year behind you.

I am not old at all, far from it. If you think you are old you will be, but if you refuse to except that you will not be old until you are well into your 80's or older, then keep doing what ever you want to do. :D

My motto, grow old disgracefully, because you can. :roflmao:

Happy Birthday!! You are definitely not old!! I am only a year and a few months behind you... You can't be old because I do not intent to ever be old! and I say you can put as many silly faces in as you want!

I feel fine, and am going to take some steps to fix the darn leg. Hey, maybe they can fix my neck too. Fix it all. LOL. Just get the sh*t fixed for crying out loud. :p Gloria made a comment on her dating thread. LOL I loved it, have to post it over here too. It had something to do with the above, but was more universal.

Birthday is good. I celebrate everyday, mostly pain free.

Glad you have a happy place in the garden too, NIKI.

I've spent many happy hours out there and taken it from blank dirt to a semi-landscaped effort. There's a really neat cactus nursery near. Wanted to buy some cute cactus so bad! But stayed on my budget. Just transplanted leaves.
One of them, that got planted a year ago, is already getting good size. Another couple transplanted cactus leaves are already pushing out tiny new leaves. In like 8 weeks!

So happy you stopped by NIKI. :) I am having a pretty good birthday. :geek: Went swimming and am eating cold watermelon. :roflmao:

I haven't met you before but I'm so glad you posted. I've been feeling that at my age there is not much point to it all - and I'm ONLY 47! LOL Thanks for giving me hope!

I'm in the UK but have family near Sacramento. When you said you took a morning swim, was it in the sea? Me and hubby want to move to the coast as we both love walking along the beach and looking at the boats.
