Weaning Off Of Ambien

I have been on Ambien for 12 years. Yes, 12 years. I know you aren't supposed to be on it long term like that. Anyways I am in between health care providers and insurance.

I have an excellent motivator for getting off of it, but I don't want to jinx that by spilling the beans just yet. It does however require me to give up the ambein.

I think chopping them down is the best way to go about it. I've read in a few places that it's a tough transition. If you can, give yourself a good month to shave them down and then re-adjust.
