Brioche! One of the biggest misquotes of all time came from Brioche. In France when they sold out of regular bread they would price down brioche to sell that days bread. Which is what Marie Antoinet said "if they don't have bread they should eat brioche" But somewhere where they had no brioche it got changed to cake....

we are rewatching Bosch right now, but he is only in my top ten, maybe five. Guy Noir, both the original radio character and then as played by Kevin Klein in “a prairie home companion”. Really corny Micky Spilane kind of writng and delivery. Favorite quote: “wearing pants so tight you could see the change in her pocket, .87 cents”.

Beer festivals! Loads of reasonably local small batch breweries, and good live music! Usually really good food as well.
