My spice mix: little bit of butter, not too much salt, onion granules, garlic granules, turmeric, chili powder, black pepper, nutritional yeast, seasoned rice vinegar (which is kept in a spray bottle in the fridge just for misting popcorn.). Also, in terms of types of popcorn? Orville Reddenbacher is the best variety in the store because that man and his brother selectively bred the popcorn to be superior to average popcorn. Fun side note: decorative, so called Indian corn that you can buy at Thanksgiving, is popcorn and you can husk and pop it if you do it right away, the longer it sits the less kernels will pop as they lose moisture.

My favorite job was tarring warehouse roofs because I was 15 years old, (mom had to sign for me to work), and I was taking home $200.00 per week. Now two hundred a week in 1976 was good money for a 15-year-old. lol, I thot I was rich.

My sister once said she was going to make some Salmonella candles. I said, "Sis, I don't think those will sell," and she said, "Why not?" And I said most people don't want food poisoning in their candles. She says, "What did I say?" I told her, "You said Salmonella, I think you meant citronella." She got all huffy and said, "Oh Hell, you know what I meant!!!" A favorite memory.
