When summer vacation started on Memorial Day weekend, instead of the end of June!!!

(Every time I watched Phineas & Ferb with my kid I got all ticked off… 104 days of summer vacation?!? What district do THEY live in?!? We’d only get 5 weeks if teachers were striking >.< more like 28 to 31 days of “summer” vacation. Grrrr. A PROPER summer is Memorial Day to Labor Day, dang it. LMFAO OKAY! Gripe over.)

SAME!! I think of that resentfully every June. And my principal said she’s planning on taking out one or two more weeks of our summer vacation.
