What are good excuses to tell work when you have therapy?

Hi, I work totally random hours so need a good excuse as to why I can’t work when I have to see my t? I said I had a weekly hospital appointment but this has lead to so many more questions...so now I just feel like I am digging myself a hole. I can’t tell them I have therapy as they just will not understand at all.

You shouldn't feel obligated to tell them. You have a right to privacy. Unless your boss specifically asks then you might need to get a doctor's note but it should be kept between you and your boss. When I have to leave early I just say I have an appointment. They don't need to know the details.

Meaning if Ive already told them I have a personal or medical thing going on? Ive told them the truth that they are entitled to. They aren’t getting any more than that. Their continueing to pester me is nothing but silly. So? Now it’s time to have som fun. :sneaky:

I just say I have an appointment. As I often have meetings out of the office I never clarify where I am going beyond that just whether I will be back before close of business

Yeah I was about to say, medical appointment, and if they want more, it's my transformation into an actual unicorn that's taking so many procedures.
