What Are Teenagers In To These Days?

You could nearly apply adult logic to 16 year olds nowadays... other than they still often have the immaturity aspect to rationalise wise concepts. Some do... most attempt, but ignore and do their thing. They're learning... and WOW, are they learning much faster than we ever did or could without the internet.

This is a huge one.

My son trusts me enough (for now) to read his texts with girls & give him feedback as to some drama going on.

Holy. f*cking. Shit.

The kid is 13 & his texts read like he's 25. :eek:

I'm not talking about sex at all. I'm talking about written maturity. The concepts and protocols and standards that he & his friends use as normal... I'm pretty sure I didn't have as solid a grasp on until I was 20.

He's still a kid. His friends are all kids. They're simply operating at a much higher level than my friends and I were in highschool. Agreed, completely. They're learning, and WOW, are they learning! And applying. And living. These kids -plain and simple- impress the hell out of me.
