8 Franciscan-ware plates for 59 cents apiece to replace the set of 4 I gave up when I relocated. I never used the tea cups, saucers or bowls anyways. Same pattern and excellent condition. Replacement plates often retail at about $26 each. Grateful and a blessing cuz it was sentimental (my grandmother's day ware).

A chance to feel the warmth of the sun when the clouds part and to taste the fresh kale that survived the winter in the garden. Being physically able to walk out there and bend over to pick it, albeit slowly, is another huge bonus that I'm grateful for.
