What Are You Grateful For Today?

I am grateful for my lungs and the ability to take deep breaths.

I am grateful for the ability to feel, both my emotions and my body.

I am grateful for where I live. It is peaceful and is allowing me to heal at my pace.

I am grateful for 'one day at a time'. My life would be unmanageable without that concept.
 
  • Grateful for the 15 pups I had the honor of spending part of my afternoon with - such good medicine.
  • Grateful for the tears flowing as my heart flows through more stages of grief from the loss of my mom.
  • Grateful for space to be me, if only I could be more consistently accepting of who me really is.
  • Grateful for recognizing many of the roots of the heaviness of simply trying to exist.
  • Grateful for the kindness and compassion of the man who chose to spend the rest of his life with me.
 
Today I am grateful for the ability to feel, investigate and respond to my anger.

I am grateful for my journey through my recovery. It is not easy, but I am learning who I really am and what I'm really made of.

I am grateful for learning that I can start my day over, no matter the time of day.

Today, I am grateful for my home.
 
Sun came out between spells of rain. Everything looks cheerier in the sun.

Grateful for being able to get myself up and doing and for the improved mood because of it. Grateful for the hope the IAPT sessions offer.
