I'm grateful for our neighbor friend who came over and surprised me by bringing me 2 hibiscus flowers from her bush just because. That was very sweet of her.

I am grateful for my beautiful friend 'J'. He is one of the few close male friends I have and I will miss him dearly as his time in this life is drawing to a close.

Tears roll down my cheeks for the memory of the many wonderful conversations (and hugs!) we have had.

For the lovely Isabella Rossellini interview on radio this afternoon, one of my favourite people, growing up. She loves animals like me and is so intelligent and kind. Along with Audrey Hepburn, I used to day dream of being one of them for a day. Well, I day dreamed of being Dennis Lillee too!
