What Are You Thankful For?

[Let It Be]

I am thankful that I ran into a friend at the store today so I could talk to her about my reservations before I went to have occupational therapy for my shoulder.

I had felt some of his comments had been very insensitive. I am thankful that I could talk them over with her before I went to his office today. I am thankful that I didn't see him today but his wife. I felt more comfortable and at ease throughout my appointment with her.

I am thankful that I am kind of able to think things through - the emotions have been overwhelming. I feel like I am not good enough, no matter what I do. I am not overwhelmed right now, I am so grateful for this.

I am thankful that it is the weekend.

I have had a hectic week with appointments 4 days straight. I can tell my anxiety and boundaries have been on overload so now it is time to rest.

I am thankful that when I treated myself to some music, I felt false guilt and that the lie I did not deserve it. I changed that mind set around really fast.
