What Are You Thankful For?

I am thankful I went food shopping even though I didn't want to.

I am thankful that I have found a few kind, healthy friends in real life.

I am thankful that all the stuff in my head - well I kept it to myself.

I'm thankful for:
a day of full sun despite the cold;
that the stray cat family found and used the "insulated fort" on my front porch that I made for them yesterday and that they are now playing in my back yard (they still won't let me touch them, though);
my boyfriend is feeling better;
my thinking is clearer today.

When I was at the laundromat my knee was killing me, I was limping and thinking (not saying) a lot about how it hurt and how it was slowing down trying to get the laundry done. Then a couple came in and the husband had prosthetic arms from the elbow down, with just clamps on the ends. Suddenly my knee pain didn't seem so bad anymore.

So today I am thankful for a knee that hurts but is still there.

Getting an unexpected gift (chiropractor is seeing me again Friday no charge cuz of the injury last Saturday)... so I promptly turned around and gave two... a meal for my friends mom while they are busy moving (dropped it off) and a 3rd in a serious table book of the history of our area for my chiropractor which he and I both collect.

Having my bad memories.....at least I had the chance to ease them.
