What Bright Eyed Bushy Tailed Things Have You Done?

I painted my Pop's car and trailer with black tyre paint all up the sides on every side. Then I felt bad I hadn't done something as nice for my nan, so I gave her a flower.

At 19 I stole a fire alarm off an abandoned development with my friends as security was patrolling. It is now in the fire museum.

I galloped down a hill at 16 pretending to be The Man from Snowy River. I fell off and broke my collarbone.

I did one this weekend. Went to the beach, in the dead of winter, on the shore of Lake Michigan to go play. Went with my daughter,my daughter's dog, a friend, and my goofie newfie. The piles of snow in the background are actually ice that has formed as the waves hit and freeze. Dogs can teach us a lot about enjoying life and being bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. :)

We used to ring doorbells at dusk or even after then and RUN! One time this guy, who we'd hit 3 or 4 times already came rushing out as soon as it rang. He fell in a ditch chasing my buddy, I hid in another ditch on the other side of the street (or maybe I was behind a bush, now that I think on it). Anyway, he did not catch either of us, thankfully.

Another thing we used to do was place a HUGE wooden box in the middle of the road (with a 35 MPH speed limit) and then climb a tree to watch. No one ever saw us, but they'd either avoid the box or stop and leave it by the side of the road. Then move on...

One day, way out in the woods, we found some old oil drums. We discovered that if we jumped up and down on them, they sounded like drums! Very loud ones too. And one day as we were jumping on them, this angry woman came out and told us to stop. We sassed her and kept right on going at it! She gave up and left. We got bored with it some time shortly after that. Went on to other mischievious things I guess.

A friend of mine accidentally hit a parking meter. The fine was very high, so he went back that night and cut it off and took it home. He turned it into a lamp and gave it to me for a Christmas gift. When you put money in it, the light would come on. I had it for years and years. It made a good bank.

When I was younger - we used to get bored....so we played practical jokes.
