Mine is just because I love nature and science and have a big appreciation for Charles Darwin. I've been nicknamed Charles in the past. Plus I was feeling down and lazy when I signed up so I just chose the simplest form of it.

The avatar is of a character called Ichigo (anime fans probably know). The story as it relates to his mask is a little involved but to over simplify it, in this mythos, a person who dies and is unable to move on for whatever reason can become a "hollow", sort of skeletal type monster in the spiritual plane. Through a turn of events Ichigo ends up as a spiritual warrior with a hollow version of himself that vies for power over him. This "inner hollow" of his always threatens to take over, but it also empowers him, increasing his power. The mask is actually a manifestation of this inner hollow.

I find it to be a very good metaphor for PTSD.

Good thread. Go Hungry comes from a short story I read somewhere, I can't remember the name of it though. Also it's in reference to one of my splits who is an addict and therefore ravenous for a certain... umm.. thing, and I need him to Go Hungry. :)
