Well done @Lionheart777 - soon you will get to 6 months or even longer and look back and think wow I've broken the serpents back!

Other things you may notice is your wallet won't feel so pinched, you will see colour return to your face, you won't have to wash the smell out of your hair. You will definitely get a better sense of smell and taste and you will smell a smoker a mile off. :)

Thank you so much @blackemerald1 I am feeling happy about my decision to quit and I'm enjoying the benefits that successfully stopping has blessed me with. I have already noticed that I breathe better and have more money. I've also noticed how much cigarette smoke stinks now that I have gotten away from it, so I even smell better :) .

I've just completed learning two new forms in my Tai Chi classes. I've got two weeks break then back into it for another term. Lots of benefits are flowing from this. :)

Smoked (apple wood) 25 pounds of pork (loins and butt) and venison. Carving up and sent some to work with mister for the office lunch today, carnitas for tonight... and a bunch to be repackaged into meal portions and frozen.

Quite a bit of cleaning up & throwing things away & similar years long bullshit, as it lost all importance for lingering on.

Semi thinking bout childhood & homes as that, too, lost importance.
Visiting doctors because if it isn't about me, whatever it, not really there for it anyway.

Went to a tai chi class and a face to face women's meeting. 4 of the group of us were like me co-occurring behaviors and two of those also had PTSD.

My favorite meditation spot by the mountain stream has a lot of poison ivy coming up, so I gathered and put down several dozen cardboard boxes and we covered them up with wood chips. Hopefully that'll keep it at bay for at least a little while.

Despite feeling very heavy and out of it after an earlier triggering incident, I made my first curry ever!! Completely from the bottom, grinding spices etc. Lamb Rogan Josh with lemon ginger rice. It was lush, and this is from the girl who couldnt even cook pasta before xmas ??

I have been more present in my life lately. I am learning how to ground myself again.
