Just thinking that I am grateful for all of the hard work, professionalism, and expertise that I received from the cancer center with my esophageal cancer and my surgery.

Thinking about some of the posts and how consequences we suffer due to PTSD or CPTSD have a long arm that reaches into our journey toward healing to discourage us. Thinking about the regrets and the if onlys that sabotage us moving forward. To all those who are living with regrets and are in circumstances that are making them feel what is the use.. go forward even if you don’t feel it is not doing you any good. This walk is two steps forward and one back.. could be other math involved..but it is in those one step back that rumination, depression and despair raise their ugly head and say… what is the use? Stay the course breakthroughs do come in their own time. We all have been there. Don’t look in the mirror at yourself too long.Read the article on reframing your negative thoughts on the article page at the top. Here is to you persevering in spite of your negative view of things.

The chemo, radiation, and surgery cost $51,000 and I may have to pay close to $400 of it, but the jury is still out and I am waiting to hear back from my insurance. So I am thinking about how expensive it is.

I am thinking about how certain people in life seem to have no redeemable qualities.

Of my aunt who's anniversary of her death is next week. Can't do what I hoped for her. Or my sister in a month. I guess that's the thing about disappointment,, the only one it affects is you. Guess it doesn't matter then. Except to me.
